Author and Reviewer Guidelines
The International Research Journal of Social Sciences (IRJOSS) has established comprehensive author and reviewer guidelines to maintain publication quality, consistency, and ethical integrity.
Author Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- All submissions must follow APA (7th Edition) referencing style.
- The total length of a full paper should range between 5,000–8,000 words, including references.
- Each submission must include:
- Title page (with author details, ORCID ID, and corresponding author email)
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (4–6)
- Main text (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
- References
- Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and clearly captioned.
- A Turnitin/iThenticate similarity report must accompany every submission.
- Manuscripts are accepted only through the Open Journal Systems (OJS)
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial or linguistic corrections without altering the content.
Reviewer Guidelines
- Reviewers must provide constructive, objective, and detailed feedback within 4–6 weeks.
- Confidentiality of manuscripts and reviewer identity must be strictly maintained.
- Reviews should focus on:
- Originality and significance
- Research design and methodology
- Data analysis and results
- Ethical compliance and academic contribution
- Clarity, structure, and referencing
- Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest before accepting a review invitation.
- Unethical reviewing practices may result in removal from the reviewer database.
Reviewer Recognition
- Reviewers receive annual recognition certificates and acknowledgment on the journal’s website.
- Outstanding reviewers may be invited to join the Editorial or Advisory Boards.
